Resolutions and Policy Committee

Resolutions and Policy is one of the standing Committees of the National Association of Community Development Extension Professionals.

The mission of the resolutions and policy committee is to annually review existing Bylaws and other policy statements and present any revisions or new policy statements for consideration at the Annual Meeting.

The key tasks of the membership committee are to:

1. Provide guidance and recommendations to the NACDEP board regarding policy issues.
2. Collaborate with other NACDEP committees regarding policy recommendations from other committees.
3. Maintain current Bylaws and policy statements.
4. Ascertain that proposed bylaws changes and policy statements are presented to the membership in a timely manner to assure their consideration at annual meetings of the membership.
5. Provide information to the membership regarding NACDEP procedures for policy changes in order to encourage active participation of membership in the policy process.
