An organizational meeting brought together persons interested in forming a specialty food network. Presentations were given related to operating a food business including topics such as production, regulations/requirements, business management, and marketing. Following the presentations, time was allowed for the group to network. The group has developed a Web site where they can post information about marketing opportunities as well as post questions to other members of the network. The meeting was sponsored by Utah State University Extension and the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food.
