For people working in the field of community development in rural areas as well as those with travel and family responsibilities, participating in standard graduate education may not be possible. This on-line master's degree in community development requires no residency. In addition it brings well known faculty from across institutions together to offer high quality, relevant, and useful instruction in the rapidly changing field of community development. In addition, the program provides a rare opportunity for students to study community development in Native communities. Organized around 5 core courses, students can select from several tracks including natural resource management and working with native communities as the focus of their education. Additional tracks are in development. In this poster, we list participating institutions, courses, and requirements as well as comments from instructions and participating students.
