Small producers in and around Hancock County have it increasingly difficult to remain economically competitive in today's ever-changing global agricultural economy. This poster will illustrate the manner in which the UGA Hancock County Extension Office has worked extensively with Hancock County small farmers to look for innovative ways to stay profitable and establish new markets. The poster will showcase how these farmers have benefited from their participation in the Georgia W.I.C. Farmers Market and Community Supported Agriculture Programs in developing new market opportunities.
