UI Gold Standard - A Customer Relations Program

Businesses, government, and non-profit organizations seek high quality customer service and employee training that is also affordable and convenient. For rural communities, high quality training keeps small local businesses competitive.

UI Extension Educators have partnered with local entities, chamber of commerce and local business owners to design and conduct customer service workshops. Program objective include:

  • Enhancing the quality of customer service delivered.
  • Developing a better understanding of what goes into providing quality service.
  • Understanding how to handle customer complaints.
  • Reviewing and evaluating customer service skills.
  • How to better support employees in their customer service endeavors.
