Rural community service organizations struggle to maintain an active membership roll, and to recruit, train, and retain enough volunteers to continue or expand their community service activities. Similarly, businesses and non-profits want to reduce turnover and gain maximum contribution from their employees

"Bridging the Generations" addresses generational differences as they relate to recruiting, training, evaluating, and rewarding members/volunteers and employees.

The 2-hour leadership development workshop includes presentation and participant activities leading to positive management techniques specific to the four adult generations. Content is applicable to citizens in community organizations as well as paid staff and volunteers of non-profits.

Participants in this session will receive a CD containing PowerPoint, presentation guide, handouts, and pre- and post evaluation forms.
